Turn a website into a presentation deck
One user reports turning a website into a presentation deck with Muse, exported as PPTX and PDF from a single short prompt, and says they would still iterate on fonts. The files are not captured, so this page adds an outline-first prompt and a review list.
What you can get
- Prepare
The website or pages to convert
- Ask and review
Pick the pages that carry the story and decide how many slides you want before starting.
- Check the result
A slide deck exported as PPTX and PDF from the content of an existing website; a first draft to edit, not a finished presentation.
The source case
@kottley reports having their Muse agent create a presentation, output as both PPTX and PDF, from a Siri AI use-cases website they had built together, and says it did a very good job with minimal input, from one short prompt. They add that they would iterate on it, with larger fonts among the changes. The attached files are not in the captured text; the prompt, slide count and quality of the content are not shown.

From the source
Source excerpt
I had my Muse Agent Create a presentation (output both PPTx & PDF) from my Siri AI use cases website we created together, and it did a very good job with minimal input. One short prompt resulted in the attached. Sure I would iterate on this, larger fonts, etc.

What you need
You supply
- The website or pages to convert
- Audience, length and tone for the talk
- Any brand colours, logo or font preferences
How to try it
Editorial, not from the source
- Pick the pages that carry the story and decide how many slides you want before starting.
- Ask for an outline first, with one line per slide, and trim it.
- Request both PPTX and PDF so you can edit one and share the other.
- Open the PPTX and check text size, overflow, broken images and any claim not on the site.
- Fix fonts and layout yourself, or ask for a targeted change such as "increase body text on every slide".
- Read the speaker notes and sources, then export a fresh PDF after your edits.
What the user reports
@kottley asked their Muse agent for a presentation in both PowerPoint and PDF, built from a website of Siri use cases that the two of them had made earlier. In the author's view it did "a very good job with minimal input", and one short prompt produced the attached result.
The tweet is also frank that this is a starting point: they say they would iterate, larger fonts for one.
Reviewing a generated deck
General practice: an AI deck usually needs a pass for density, because website copy is longer than slide copy. Cut each slide to one idea, enlarge text that would be unreadable from the back of a room, and verify that every claim traces to a page on the source site.
Give a talk time in the prompt; it helps decide the slide count.
Open Muse to try it. That is the product's own site; this guide is not part of it.
Limits and confirmation points
Limits to confirm
- The attached deck is not part of the captured text, so its quality and length are unknown.
- The author's prompt is described only as "short"; it is not quoted.
- The author says they would iterate; the post does not list what else needed changing.
- This is an attributed community report, not reproduced by this guide. The suggested workflow and checks are editorial guidance, not a recovered conversation or guaranteed product capability.
If it goes wrong
Editorial, not from the source
- Text is too small or overflows the slide
- Ask for larger body text and fewer words per slide, as the author says they would do.
- A slide states something not on the website
- Delete it or ask for the source page; the prompt tells the agent to mark gaps instead.
- The PDF and PPTX differ
- Edit the PPTX, then export the PDF again from it.
Common questions
Can Muse make a presentation from a website?
One user reports it produced PPTX and PDF versions from a short prompt. The files are not shown here, and this guide has not reproduced it.
Will the deck be ready to present?
The author says they would iterate, for example on font size. Plan for an editing pass.
Do I need to write a long prompt?
The author describes the prompt as short. Adding audience and length, as in the prompt above, is an editorial suggestion.
